Nikolas drew her close and rubbed her back. “Honey, please stop crying. Remember, no matter what, I'm here for you, supporting you. Even if we lose this baby, it won't change our relationship at all.”
Aimee looked down, her eyes reddened from tears. "Nikolas, I know how much you were looking forward to the baby being born."
"More importantly, I just want you to remain the joyful, carefree girl you've always been," Nikolas said sincerely. "Stop crying now. You've been so distressed with the pregnancy. Why don't we spend some time with our daughter, alright?”
