Bethany's heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively raised her voice. "The hospital? What happened? Is she alright?"

"She's fine. The doctor said everything's okay. She's just a bit overwhelmed, maybe overexerted herself."

Bethany exhaled slowly. "I see. Well, there's been a situation with Jonathan. I might need Nikolas' help more often. Could you keep an eye on Aimee for now?"

“Of course. I'm her cousin. Looking after her is my job," Jayson said with a hint of hesitation as if there was something more he wanted to say but held back. “Just don't forget to take care of yourself, too."
