As he entered, he saw Bethany watching him intently.

"You woke up early too."

Bethany let out a soft sigh. "You didn't sleep at all last night. How could I?"

Jonathan stepped closer, wrapping her in his arms and feeling her warmth. “I can't relax without a plan. Unless you knock me out, I won't be able to rest."
