"I trust you! You don't need any proof. I know you'll do it!"

Bethany looked into his eyes, a tear slipping down her cheek. "If our journey ever ends, it would be my fault for making you sad. It could never be because of you, Jonathan!"

Jonathan's unwavering determination and deep-seated devotion allowed him to love Bethany for over a decade, despite so many instances of hurt she had caused. How could she ever question his sincerity? To doubt such a thing would deeply insult their shared feelings.

Jonathan raised his hand to wipe her tears away. “Don't cry, Bethany. I'm ready to do anything for you, with all my heart." He even pushed the pen into her hand. "Sign this before the city hall closes."
