"But this is the last time." Jonathan clasped her hand between his.

"I promise." He vowed never to face divorce again, no matter the circumstances or challenges that might arise.

"I believe you." Bethany took his words to heart. Jonathan had gone to great lengths to show her that he was committed and trustworthy.
