Bethany looked at the clock, the conversation having gone full circle, and sprang up from her chair. “In that case, you'd better get going!"

Brody pointed at the contract. "You haven't signed it yet."

"Oh, right! My poor memory! I completely forgot." Bethany quickly leaned over, scribbled her signature at the bottom, and handed it back to Brody. "There you go! You can head back now. Actually, go enjoy your date!"

"Thanks." Brody secured the contract in his briefcase with a cheerful grin and hurried out the door.

Bethany chuckled as she watched him sprint away.
