He stepped forward and met Rowland's gaze. "I'm not like some people who claim they don't care about having kids. But who knows what they'll feel down the line? Maybe in a few years, they'll suddenly decide they want children and force Mia into a position where she has to choose between her happiness and theirs. I won't let that happen. I won't let Mia live with that kind of fear."
