Bethany shook her head and added teasingly, "You're starting to sound old-fashioned, Aimee. Why would Jonathan and I care about having grandkids? Rowan doesn't care either. What we care about is his happiness. And you know Rowan. Can you really stand to see him so lost after breaking up with Mia?"

Aimee sighed, resigned. "Mia thinks he'1l move on eventually."

Bethany scoffed. "Do you even know my son? Even if you don't, you should know Jonathan and me."
