"Alright." Bethany stepped aside and called Rowland. The phone quickly connected. "Mom?"

“Naomi is in labor. She's in the delivery room now. Are you and Mia on your way back?"

Rowland seemed to consult Mia briefly. After a pause, he responded, "We're coming back! We'll pack and head to the airport shortly."

"Great!" Bethany responded with a smile. She then continued, "Naomi seems to have had a bit of trouble with Dooley. If Dooley's not at the hospital when you arrive, it's best not to bring him up. We don't want to distress Naomi right after she's given birth."

"Dooley upset Naomi?!" Rowland's voice grew tense.
