Chapter: 729
"Yeah, I wanted it earlier. Not anymore. I mean it.”
Nikolas retorted, "You asked for this. I still want it."
“Nikolas, you-" Aimee's protest was abruptly silenced by Nikolas leaning in and kissing her unexpectedly.
In his haste, his teeth accidentally brushed against hers, making her nose twitch with discomfort. But her lips were captured, leaving her unable to reprimand him.
While kissing her, Nikolas swung the door wide and effortlessly lifted Aimee onto the bed.
“Please, stop!" Aimee's fear surged unexpectedly. Why had she ignited his longstanding insatiable longing for intimacy?
She had simply wanted the thrill of dating a handsome, wealthy man; she hadn't signed up for this level of intimacy.
“You brought this upon yourself. Just accept it!"
Aimee attempted to retreat under the covers, but Nikolas deftly pulled her close, positioning her beneath him.
"No, not now. You can handle it alone. I won't bother you again," she protested.
Nikolas firmly held her head. Aimee's nails grazed his back as he kept on kissing her lips.
"Hmm..." Aimee fought with all her strength, feeling utterly drained.
This man was as immovable as a fortress.
Out of the blue, Nikolas froze, his face etched with concern.
Aimee's eyes widened. “What's the matter?"
“I forgot something. Just hold on. I'll be right back."
His anxiety over the idea of becoming a parent was evident.
Despite the desires gnawing at him, Nikolas reached for the car keys, ready to dash out.
Aimee stopped him. "I've got it in my bag."
"Wait, what?"
"I actually grabbed it at the supermarket earlier."
"Why do I get the feeling you're trying to trap me?" Nikolas asked, suspicion coloring his voice.
Aimee couldn't help but smile at his reaction. "If you think it's a trap, then stay away from me."
"Let's go on."
