Chapter: 746
Nikolas chuckled as he helped Aimee free her hair. Despite her insults, he just grinned. “Okay, we'll get off the plane and you'll come with me."
Aimee tugged at her hair desperately, trying to escape Nikolas, but the sharp pain made her wince.
“Hold on. I'm almost done."
With those words, Nikolas drew Aimee closer to him.
Now Aimee could detect the faint scent of tobacco on him, which brought back memories of the previous night, when she was beneath him.
The memory of their intimacy made her blush. She held her breath, planning to push Nikolas away as soon as her hair was free.
She noticed Nikolas slowing down, a sign her hair would soon be untangled. But just as Aimee tried to move, Nikolas grabbed her wrist and pressed her against the seat.
Aimee had reclined the seat earlier, intending to sleep.
“What are you doing? We're on a plane!"
“You know what I'm about to do."
“Nikolas, please stop. I don't know what to say to you! If I'd known you were this clingy, I would have..."
"You would have done what?" Nikolas asked, his gaze intense.
Aimee retreated and said, “Just leave me alone. This is embarrassing! Do you want to talk or not? Let's just talk, okay?"
She was keen to avoid a scene in the first-class cabin.
"Talk?"
“Okay, let's talk!"
Nikolas eyed Aimee suspiciously, then took out his phone. "Let's add each other first."
"Can we just talk first?" Aimee suggested. What if he regretted adding her as a friend after their conversation? Then, adding each other would have been a waste of time since they'd just end up deleting each other anyway.
“Why are you so adamant about not sharing your contact details with me?"
Nikolas discovered that Aimee was resolute when it came to protecting her contact details from him.
"You really want to know the truth?" Aimee's eyebrows arched in curiosity.
"Yes!"
"Because I don't want to stay in touch with you at all. I'm wary that you might try to reach out to me. It's better if we simply don't cross paths in the future. And if by chance we do run into each other, we can just act like strangers!"
Aimee's bluntness spoke volumes, revealing her true feelings.
