Chapter: 804
He silenced Aimee with a kiss before she could conclude her sentence.

"Mm! Nikolas... Mm!"

"I've already told you, three times, then we're done. This instance was just the first."

Nikolas would never allow Aimee to go on the blind date today.

It wouldn't take much to deplete her energy completely. Before they even finished the second round, Aimee was already exhausted.

She was soaked through, as if she had been dragged out of a lake.

"I can't do this anymore..." Aimee's voice was raspy with fatigue.

Nikolas felt worn out too. He hadn't rested properly in days, yet that didn't stop him from making his point to Aimee.

“Are you still considering that blind date?" he asked.

“If I say I'm not going, will you stop?"

Lifting an eyebrow, Nikolas answered, “Yes.”

“Fine, I won't go. Please, just let me be." Her voice was rough, her throat painfully dry.

Satisfied with her response, Nikolas silently gathered his strength and quickly finished what he had started.

He then stepped away and retrieved a bottle of water from the trunk for Aimee.

She was too exhausted to even lift her hands, which trembled uncontrollably.

Pleased with himself, Nikolas opened the water bottle and held it to her lips. “Let me help you," he offered.

Aimee, too tired to argue, simply complied.

Before she had a chance to finish her water, her phone buzzed.

It was her dad, Henson Bates.

The time had come for the date, and he was calling to remind her to head home.

Meanwhile, Nikolas’ gaze caused Aimee's skin to prickle uncomfortably.

“You can't speak right now!" she demanded.

“Then you can't go on your blind date either."

“How am I supposed to go to a blind date looking like this?"
