"Since you've decided against it, why did you say you'd consider it?"

Nikolas asked.

“If I hadn't told you that, would you have let me be?" Aimee figured Nikolas was clever enough to have understood her intentions from that day.

It was foolish of him to raise this question now.

“And now? Are you planning to go on a blind date again?" Nikolas could only clench his teeth and suppress his anger with the two children present.

"What does it matter to you? Don't act as if we're dating! Others might think I cheated on you." Aimee took out her phone and showed Nikolas the screen. "The man at the top was introduced by my parents. We've added each other, so there's no need for a blind date. We've chatted quite a bit and feel we're compatible. So, you should move on. It's time for you to find someone else."

Aimee suspected Nikolas was obsessed with her. If he couldn't have her, he would not stop trying.

She believed Nikolas when he said many women would fall for him. He was outstanding, with good looks that could easily make him a star.

She had been captivated by his face and curious if his ability in bed was as impressive as his appearance suggested.

But such an obsession would fade once he achieved his goal.

Did she want to seduce Nikolas into loving her like a devoted companion forever, solely based on her looks?

The thought was not only absurd but a mere fantasy.

Nikolas inspected the phone more closely and saw it was true.

The man's last message said, "Good night. Go to bed early!"

They were chatting joyfully.

Seeing this, Nikolas clenched his teeth. “Delete him now."

“Why should I obey you?"

Nikolas clenched his fists. "Believe it or not, I'll do it with you in front of him!"

"Have you lost your mind?"

“Don't make me repeat myself!"

Aimee scoffed, turned around with Nola in her arms, and ignored him.

With the children present, she was confident that Nikolas couldn't harm her.

He didn't confront her physically; but he snatched her phone.

“What are you doing?" she asked.
