Chapter: 825
With Bethany's imminent return, Aimee felt emboldened. Nikolas wouldn't dare harm her.

She intended to complain to Bethany, who would then inform Jonathan.

Nikolas was definitely headed for trouble.

"Do you want to do it in front of him?" Nikolas wouldn't object to a public spectacle.

After all, the embarrassment wouldn't just be on him, but also on Aimee.

"You should first figure out who he is."

Aimee stood up, lifting Nola and heading toward the arrivals gate.

Nikolas, clearly infuriated, clenched his teeth.

Rowan pulled at his shirt. "You're not very good at wooing people. You should watch how my dad does it."

“Learn from your dad? It took him over a decade to win your mom. Do I have that kind of time?"

"Huh?"

"Your dad is the worst at romance! He's all about the long game. If your mom runs away, he'll be sorry!"

Rowan frowned, pausing to think. "My mom won't leave.”

“It's just a metaphor!"

“She's not a metaphor either!"

“Alright, alright, she's neither."

Jonathan and Bethany used the VIP exit and were among the first to disembark.

From a distance, Bethany saw Aimee holding her daughter and Nikolas with her son.

To her surprise, they appeared quite harmonious.

Just as Bethany started to hurry over, she felt the hand in hers tremble slightly.

She looked up to see Jonathan's gaze intently fixed on Nola, his expression tight.

Was he nervous?

"Nola loves candy. You can win her over with sweets," Bethany whispered reassuringly, squeezing his hand. "You bought her so much candy last time; she must like you."

Jonathan glanced at her. "Bethany, I still owe her one dollar."
