Hand in hand, they continued their walk, snapping pics along the way.

Following their GPS, they found themselves in front of a famous church, “Holy cow!"

Bethany's jaw dropped. The piece of architecture in front of her was just grand legendary.

Against the clear blue sky, the church stood majestic with its red brick walls and green roof. It was simply breathtaking.

She pulled out her phone to capture the moment.

“A photo? That's so basic," Jonathan teased.

Bethany glanced up at him, puzzled. "Then how do I make it unique?"

Jonathan zeroed in on a kid lugging a backpack, probably a student.

He clapped the kid on the shoulder, a grin splitting his face. “Hey, could you please lend me a pen and paper?"

The kid looked a bit startled but nodded. "Sure, I guess."

He forked over a pen and a sheet. Jonathan snatched them up and gestured for Bethany to come closer.

"What do you want to write?" he asked, his eyebrows raised.

Bethany pondered for a moment. “How about something like, ‘We were here'?"

Jonathan wrinkled his nose. "That's about as original as a wet fart, babe."

“So what do you suggest?"

He grinned, a mischievous glint in his eye. He grabbed the pen and scribbled something on the paper. “Bethany and Jonathan were here.”

Bethany leaned in for a look. "Hey! That's what I said! Didn't you say it was tacky?"

“Yeah, but I always listen to you."

He handed the stuff back to the kid with a quick "Thanks, man," and held the paper up in front of the church.

"Picture time!"

Bethany beamed, pulling out her phone to snap a photo of the blue sky, the charming church, and the handwritten note.

"You really love this place, don't you?" he asked.

"Yes! I saw this church in a Harvein brochure, and it looked stunning, especially covered in snow. It's even more beautiful in person." She nodded enthusiastically.
