Carol glanced outside, noticing the storm had finally passed.

She got to her feet. "Cedric's still out there. The rain was brutal, and he's drenched. If he stays out much longer, he'll end up sick."

Daniela didn't even glance up. "Tell him to leave."

Carol nodded, recalling Ryan's and Lillian's words, then headed downstairs.

She was back in no time. "You two are impossible. Daniela, keep working if you want-I'm calling it a night."
