"That's right, I'm Freya's boyfriend." Ellis remained just outside the courtyard. "Sorry for dropping by without calling ahead."

Farrah motioned for him to come in.

This house belonged to Freya, which meant Ellis could come in as he pleased. Now that Farrah had taken up residence, he always announced his arrival and waited for her to welcome him inside. For him, it was just a matter of respect.

After passing the baby off to a nanny, Farrah turned the conversation to what mattered. "Ellis, is there something on your mind?"

"IT want to propose to Freya on the 12th, and I hope you can be there to witness it." Ellis spoke up, sincere as ever. "If that doesn't work, I'll adjust the plans to fit your schedule."
