The atmosphere was tense since the arrival of the Alpha king, with the Alphas me***lly bracing themselves to say things that they believed could kill them.
I heard a lot about him, the Alpha king, there’s even a book about how he brutally and mercilessly eliminated his enemies so that the werewolf kingdom became as powerful as it is now. I guess having a wolfless mate will be his weakness so he hates the idea of having me beside him.

Entering my old room brought back memories…
A small bed in the corner, a study table and a small library filled with books, because reading is one of my favourite things, I just realized that I have that many books?
My suitcase was already in the next room, the dressing room and I walked around to the collection of photos near my study table.
Pictures of me when I was young with Ryan, Rick, Alice and my parents were posted there.
Smiling at it before I threw my body onto the bed and let out a long breath.

Wow, 5 long years of studying medicine, I never thought I’d be back here.

I took a quick shower, then hurriedly got some clothes from the changing room and grumbled that I hadn’t opened my suitcase yet so I hurriedly looked through my old clothes and finally decided to wear the blue dress I had worn at my high school graduation which was very pretty because it accentuated my eyes which were the same color.
