“Why do you ask?"
“I'm just curious. Were you two discussing business?"
Before Caden could respond, Alicia got up and approached him.
Caden's eyes followed her movements. He was caught off guard when she straddled his lap without hesitation.
His brows knitted together as he asked, "What do you think you're doing?"
Alicia stayed silent and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Up close, Caden's sharp, handsome features filled her vision. His chiseled face was flawless from any angle. It was even more striking than she had imagined.
It was as if his looks were carved by the gods themselves.
Driven by anger, Alicia placed one hand on his face and leaned in slowly, aiming for his Lips.
Caden turned his head to the side. “What are you trying to do?"
Alicia pressed harder, refusing to give him a chance to avoid her.
She knew this was reckless, and it harmed herself as much as it would hurt him, but she didn't stop.
This opportunity was far too enticing to let go, considering the fact that Caden was Joshua's nemesis.
Alicia moved closer and whispered in his ear, "Didn't you say I was too shy in expressing myself? Let's be more direct, then.”
Caden's eyes darkened. “And what exactly do you have in mind?"
A sly grin spread across Alicia's face. “Do you know how to moan?"
Caden's gaze dropped to her lips, locking onto them.
“And who exactly is supposed to be moaning?" he asked, leaning in with a heated passion.
Alicia knew she might be pushing too far, but she didn't back down.
"You."
Caden let out a quiet laugh, entertained by her boldness.
On the other end of the line, Lilliana interrupted, "Mr. Ward? Are you still there?"
Caden looked straight into Alicia's eyes, tightening his hold on her waist.
Alicia shifted her body slightly, making space for him as if to welcome the closeness.
His voice came out hoarse, though he hadn't intended to do it. “Are you serious?"
As he spoke, his face lifted just enough for his nose to brush against her cheek. The cold touch sent shivers through her.
Alicia's eyelashes trembled, and her anxiety began to rise.
She swallowed hard and summoned the courage to kiss him. "Go along with this, and I'll pay you for your troubles."
A dangerous light flashed in Caden's eyes. The intensity of his stare drew Alicia in.
With every passing moment, Alicia felt a growing passion. Her body reacted to his presence as she kissed him wildly, licking and biting his lips with reckless abandon.
