Chapter: 402
Hank nodded. "Understood, Mr. Ward."

Alicia looked away.

Earlier, she had overheard everything played by the Laptop. She could tell that the new product lacked innovation and would fail in the domestic market. She also knew that Caden was unhappy with the employees’ revised plans.

This explained his foul mood.

"Domestic and international tastes aren't the same. People here respond more to emotional appeal. You should skip the traditional methods and focus on attracting the younger generation," Alicia remarked.

Caden retorted, "And how much money do young people have?"

“They might not be rich, but if you lower your prices and accept smaller profits, you can still succeed," she argued. “It's called small profits but quick returns. Have you forgotten how things work here after spending years abroad?"

Caden stared at her.

Profits no longer mattered to him.

He leaned in and said, “Are you trying to start an argument? With that kind of attitude, you'll only ask for trouble."

Alicia met his gaze steadily. "So what if I tell you that's exactly what I desire? What action would you take?"

Caden's stern expression softened at her challenge, and he teased, "If you're not in a hurry, wait until we reach home. If you are, I can arrange a room at a nearby hotel."

Alicia was left speechless.

Unable to contain herself, she silently swore at him.

ALL he ever thought about was sex!

Caden purposely misinterpreted her reaction. “Can't wait, can you? Should I ask Hank to pull over? I've never experienced it in a car before."

Alicia's cheeks turned red, and she leaned in to cover his mouth.

She was aware of his uninhibited nature in private, but his blatant boldness in front of Hank was shocking.

He might be indifferent to his own reputation, but she certainly cared about hers!

Seizing the moment, Caden drew her into his embrace.

She tried to wriggle free.

"Don't move." Caden held her effortlessly and then shut his eyes.

"Let me rest for a while."

He rested his chin on her head and breathed out slowly. "I'm feeling a bit sleepy."

His voice was deep and hoarse.

It betrayed his exhaustion.

Alicia's resolve melted, and she ceased her struggle.

She shifted to make herself a more comfortable support for him to lean on.

Caden laughed.

Confused, she buried her face in his chest, her eyelashes fluttering against his neck.
