Chapter: 417
Her spirits lifted.

Caden gently set her down. "Head to the car and wait for me. I need to use the restroom."

"Okay."

In the adjacent men's changing room, the man who had previously attacked Alicia was in the process of removing his clothes when he heard the door open.

He spun around to confront an unfamiliar face.

“Who are you? A new trainee?" he asked.

Caden stood his ground, emanating a formidable aura.

Caden said, "Yes, I'm new around here. I heard you're pretty skilled, so I wanted to verify it."

The man detected hostile vibes.

He recognized that Caden was no ordinary contender.

If a confrontation were to ensue, it was unclear who would end up battered.

Deciding to err on the side of caution, he quickly dressed. “I'm tied up right now. Plus, today's session is over. Maybe some other time."

Just as he was about to exit, Caden stood in his way.

Caden's gaze was piercing. “Did Alicia do something to upset you?"

The man felt a chill.

He responded defiantly, "No, we're on good terms."

Caden's expression turned sly. "Then why the harsh treatment towards her?"

The man lost his composure.

Despite his fear of Caden, he refused to yield. He blurted out angrily, "Why does she have to draw all the attention? She's new here and already outshining everyone. I didn't intend to hurt her today. I just wanted to give her a small Lesson on keeping a lower profile."

Caden laughed. "And who appointed you to teach her a lesson?"

He began rolling up his sleeves, the atmosphere growing more tense by the moment.

The man's eyes widened in fear. "What are you planning to do?"

Caden responded, "It's been some time since I've had a good workout. You seem like a good practice opponent."

After washing his hands, Caden noticed Alicia outside, appearing bewildered.

He frowned briefly, then casually dried his hands. "Didn't I ask you to wait in the car?"

Alicia had overheard the earlier altercation.

The realization that Caden had defended her left her with conflicting emotions, which she hadn't yet fully processed.

After a pause, she moved closer to him. "Well... is he alright?"

Caden had struck the man so forcefully that he was barely conscious.

Could he actually die?
