Chapter: 700
After he hurt her, he apologized and set aside his pride. Despite her biting words, he couldn't let her go.

He accepted his fate.

Time and again she pushed him away, yet he continually sacrificed his pride to return to her.

And now, he had witnessed firsthand her use of the person he cherished most against him.

How ironic.

Alicia was too slow to react, and the medicine box dropped to the floor.

A sharp pain radiated from her heart.

She felt defeated and bitter, her willingness to explain quenched by his mocking words.

She responded in a low voice, “If that's how you see me, then let it be. You don't need to bring me medicine or do anything similar. We broke up long ago. There's no point in this."

Caden's face was impassive. “Broke up? Did we ever really date?"

At his words, Alicia involuntarily tightened her fists.

Her eyes reddened slightly.

Despite seeing her distress, Caden couldn't suppress a sneer, though part of him still felt troubled by her sadness.

"Alicia, well done."

Alicia picked up the medicine box and tossed it into the trash.

The model changed out of her costume and tidied up. After Ciara paid her, she left.

Alicia was scrubbing the bloodstains off the floor.

The model came over to help. Alicia handed her the tools and then looked at Ciara.

"It's getting late. I'll drive you home."

Ciara noticed her red eyes and asked with concern, “What happened?"

Alicia simply shook her head.

As they walked downstairs, they noticed Caden's car parked outside.

He was resting against the car window, smoking.

His profile, with its deep features, exuded a profound loneliness.

Ciara was taken aback. "When did that kid get back?"

Alicia paused. "Why don't you go with him? I'm quite tired, so I'll head home."

Ciara felt something was amiss and wanted to inquire further, but Alicia had already turned away to leave.

Caden turned his head and glanced over.

When he spotted Ciara, his brow furrowed briefly before his attention shifted to Alicia.

Despite her thick coat, she looked delicate and fragile.
