Chapter: 1754
"Bring her here? Who should I bring here?" The manager looked at Carson warily. He was afraid that Carson would grab him by the collar again.

Carson took out his phone, opened the contacts, and pointed at a phone number at the top.

"Call this number."

After saying this, he tossed his phone to the manager.

Fortunately, the manager was agile enough to catch it before it fell to the floor. When he looked at the screen, he saw the name “Ungrateful Woman" on the contacts.

Was this really the woman's name?

The manager's eyes twitched a few times. He was considering whether he should make the phone call. If he did, what should he say? He was still in a dilemma when Carson ordered again, “What are you waiting for? Call her! Tell her to come here!"

“But Mr. Scott, it's already one in the morning. She might be sleeping by now." The manager was now sweating profusely, asking himself why he had to be in such a predicament.

But Carson was already drunk, and he couldn't get over the fact that Rosa had chosen Elliott over him. Fueled by alcohol, he was very stubborn, and he paid no heed to the manager's words.

Carson roared, "Are you calling her or not?"

"Mr. Scott..."

"You won't call her? Fine! I'll ask the owner of this club to fire you."

The manager's hand holding the phone trembled, and he almost dropped it. He quickly agreed without thinking.

“Okay, I'll call her now."

After saying this, the manager clicked the number and pressed the call button.

The jarring sound of the phone echoed in the private room. Carson leaned back on the couch, listening to the busy tone. His eyes slowly closed.

"Mr. Scott, no one's picking up. Perhaps she's..."

The manager's voice trailed off when he saw Carson had already closed his eyes and fallen asleep.

The manager breathed a sigh of relief. He was about to end the call when it was suddenly connected. He was so shocked that he froze for a while, looking at the screen in horror.

He was caught in a predicament again. Hanging up was no longer an option, but speaking was equally daunting.

On the other side, Rosa, who was awakened by the ringing of her phone, stared at the screen. She pursed her lips and waited in silence for a moment. But she didn't hear Carson's voice.

Her brows furrowed tightly. Did he call her number by mistake?

"Hello?" Rosa called out again.

When the manager heard Rosa's voice, his heart skipped a beat, and his tongue suddenly seemed to tie itself into knots.
