Chapter: 1761
The memories of last night still troubled Libby, which upset her. She suddenly stood up and asked, “Carson, are you hungry? Would you Like something to eat? I can arrange for breakfast to be brought here."
“Sure.”
Libby hurried off towards the living room.
Carson watched Libby leave with a hint of darkness in his eyes. He knew he had consumed too much alcohol the previous night, but it wasn't like he had forgotten everything. He just couldn't recall when Libby had arrived.
He remembered that he forced the manager to call Rosa last night.
He still remembered grabbing Rosa when she showed up and asking her why she had chosen Elliott.
However, Rosa didn't respond, and even said he was childish.
Rosa Moran...
Despite his drunken state, she hadn't displayed any concern for him.
Well, she had never loved him from the start, so she wouldn't have cared about him.
He felt deeply saddened. Every time he thought about Rosa being with Elliott, jealousy consumed him and drove him to madness.
But he couldn't confront Rosa.
The only connection remaining between him and Rosa was Maya.
Carson had learned his lessons from Rachel and Victor, and he didn't dare to push Rosa too far. He knew that he couldn't afford to be separated from Rosa for another three years. So, even though he felt jealous, he had to suppress his emotions and gradually win her back from Elliott.
Breakfast arrived soon after.
After showering, Carson emerged in a bathrobe and walked out of the bedroom. At that time, Libby was setting the table. When she turned around, she caught sight of his slightly open collar and his wet hair, which made her heart skip a beat.
Catching herself staring, she quickly averted her gaze.
"Come and sit, Carson. Would you like milk, or something else?"
"Milk."
Once Carson was seated, Libby carefully poured him some milk and set it before him.
“Carson, do you have plans after breakfast?" Libby inquired from across the table and looked at him with a pair of bright eyes.
While eating a piece of bread, Carson glanced at her.
“I need to handle some business at the office. Why do you ask?"
“Well..." A trace of disappointment appeared on Libby's face, and she didn't hide it. She smiled and said, "It's okay. I can go by myself."
