Chapter: 1774
"Okay."

"So, what do you want to eat?"

Maya tilted her head, thinking seriously. Then her eyes suddenly lit up.

"Can I have ice cream?"

Jeanne raised her eyebrows. "You want ice cream? But it's very cold. Are you not afraid of the cold?"

"No, it's okay. I love ice cream," Maya replied, shaking her head. She closed her eyes as if she was already imagining herself eating delicious ice cream. "It's sweet."

Maya looked so cute that Jeanne couldn't help laughing and pinching her cheeks again. "Well, I can buy you as much ice cream as you want. But you have to ask your mommy first if she will allow you to eat ice cream."

Maya immediately raised her head and looked at Rosa expectantly.

Rosa gently touched the tip of Maya's nose and was about to say something when a gentle voice sounded.

“Maya, do you want to eat ice cream?" It was Libby, who had already changed her clothes. She walked up to Maya and asked, "Can I buy you some?"

Maya subconsciously hid behind Rosa, revealing only a pair of bright eyes that looked at Libby warily.

The smile on Libby's face froze for a moment. Apparently, she didn't expect Maya's reaction to be like this. But then, she quickly regained her composure. She forced a smile and said in a soft voice, "Maya, don't you know me? I am your aunt."

Aunt?

Jeanne looked back and forth between Rosa and Libby. It was only then that she noticed the similarities between Rosa and Libby. She suddenly realized the relationship between the two. "Wait! You are..."

Libby noticed the confusion on Jeanne's face, so she took the initiative to introduce herself. "Hi! I'm Libby Moran, Maya's aunt."

Jeanne didn't know much about Rosa's past, and she didn't mean to pry. So, she had no idea about Rosa and Libby's relationship with each other. It turned out that the woman in front of her was Rosa's sister. She smiled at Libby amiably.

"Oh, so you are Rosa's sister. Again, I'm really, really sorry. I didn't mean to splash water on you. It was just an accident," Jeanne added.

Libby shook her head, pretending to be considerate. “It's okay. Don't worry about it."

Suddenly, something occurred to Jeanne. She clapped her hands and said, “Libby, how about having lunch with us?"

"Well... Can I?" Libby prolonged her words, and there was a hint of embarrassment in her tone.

Rosa just looked at Libby coldly without saying anything.

However, Jeanne still didn't notice that something was wrong between Rosa and Libby. So, when Libby asked the question, she said without hesitation, “Of course! The more, the merrier."

Libby looked at Rosa. Then she turned to Jeanne again. "Won't it cause you any trouble?"

“Not at all! Since you are Rosa's sister, then you are also my friend."
