Chapter: 1794
"Check this and analyze the data. Give me the analysis report by tomorrow afternoon at the latest," Odin ordered, tossing the USB flash drive to the man.

The man caught it in the air. He looked somewhat puzzled, but he didn't ask any more questions. He just nodded, turned around, and left the office.

Everything happened quickly.

While watching the scene, Rachel's gaze deepened. A sneer flashed in her eyes.

She knew that Odin was deliberately performing this act in front of her to test her and tell her she could not fool him by fabricating some data randomly.

He obviously didn't trust her. And he had to remind her of what he was capable of doing.

Odin's intention was obvious. He didn't intend to hide his motives.

"Shall we? What do you want to eat? It's my treat, so you can choose any restaurant you like. After all, once this project succeeds, you'll be the hero of the Sullivan Group." As he spoke, Odin reached out, trying to put his arm around her shoulders.

Rachel subtly sidestepped to dodge.

"No need. I'm on leave, and I need to return immediately. If I'm away for too long, they will wonder. And there are too many prying eyes here. If Alberto finds out, he will become suspicious," she said with a cold expression. "Besides, I don't need to be called a hero.

I only hope you will keep your word. Once this project is over, our business relationship also ends."

Odin withdrew his arm and looked at Rachel. Her repeated rejections challenged him even more. Such a feeling was far from pleasant.

His brows furrowed in displeasure. "You can rest assured."

"Okay, then. I'll go ahead," Rachel replied. She didn't seem to care about his mood. "Goodbye, Mr. Sullivan."

She then turned around and left his office without looking back.

Odin stood in place and watched her resolute back. He felt a knot in his chest that he couldn't untangle. There was a mix of frustration and irritation in his heart.

The man who had left with the USB flash drive returned to Odin's office for clarifications. He knocked on the door and was about to push it open when Odin's harsh voice came from inside.

"Get Lost!"

The man was so startled that he broke out in a cold sweat. He ran far from the door as fast as he could.

After leaving Sullivan Group, Rachel didn't immediately go home. She had just made Odin unhappy, so she didn't want to return home right away. She feared he might have sent some people to follow her. If she was discovered, it wouldn't be worth the risk.

Rachel had to err on the side of caution, so she decided to enter a nearby shopping mall and stroll around.

Christmas was just around the corner, so the shops in the mall were adorned with festive posters and decorations. A variety of new arrivals were also on display.

Rachel was wandering around, but she had grown bored. Suddenly, a small figure bumped into her.

Maya ran ahead without paying attention to her way, so she didn't notice the person in front of her. Their collision made her stagger a few steps, and she almost fell to the floor.
