Chapter: 1828
She didn't make the changes drastic but instead within the error range. But if they used the changed date, the project would fail.

Right from the start, Rachel didn't plan on cooperating with Odin.

Rachel picked her blue-light glasses and started checking the data one by one.

When she joined the project team, she didn't know much about the medical part, but Alberto helped her. All she needed to do was finish the project on a good note, then watch Odin pay the price.

Once she had done so, she could leave and go back to her Littler boy she had missed so much.

Rachel wasn't able to sleep until it was nearly five in the morning.

She had only slept for three hours. Lila knocked on the door and announced, “Miss Bennet, the gentleman is here again.”

Rachel didn't sleep well because she had to return to the project team on the second day; she had to get things done. Lila's voice woke her up, making her sit up in a daze.

She just woke up. She couldn't think straight, yet.

Who was this gentleman?

It took her a while to realize it was Dewey. "Okay," she told Lila once she had composed herself enough. "I'll head downstairs once I've changed."

She picked herself up from the bed and headed to wash her face. She picked some casual wear, then went downstairs. There, she saw Dewey on the living room, sipping coffee.

“Good morning, Dewey," she called him, taking a step forward.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you up? I wanted to let you to get more sleep, but Lila insisted." His tone was laced with guilt. In truth, when Dewey saw the dark circles around Rachel's eyes, he was confused.

But then again, he knew that he came a little early.

"It's okay. It's not that early. It will be ten o'clock when we get back to the project team," Rachel said, looking at the door subconsciously. There was no one but a Maybach parking at the gate.

Dewey knew what Rachel's gaze meant. "Mr. Gibson left Apliaria early this morning."

“What? Oh, yeah, I know." Rachel didn't expect Dewey to know her thoughts. She quickly brushed it off as if nothing was amiss.

"Actually, Miss Bennet, Mr. Gibson asked me to give you this." Dewey fished a small bottler from his pocket and handed it to her.

Rachel looked at it and saw that it was the essential oil she brought to the Gibson Mansion yesterday.

Rachel was too stunned to talk for a while. When she got back to her senses, she took the bottle and said, "I forgot to take it with me last night."

It seemed that Alberto had decided to not get someone else to massage him.

"Oh, I see. To be honest, when I picked up Mr. Gibson this morning, I was wondering what was going on because he was staring at that,"

Dewey professed.
