She went for an early morning run, covering two kilometers. When she returned, sweating and entering the living room of her small villa, she was surprised to see a familiar figure standing by the floor-to-ceiling window.

Upon seeing him, Averie stopped, and the anxiety she'd been feeling finally subsided.

“Back already?" The man turned at the sound of her return.

Though they hadn't seen each other for a month and a half, Averie thought he looked slightly older. She tossed her towel onto the sofa's armrest and walked over to him, lips pursed. “Am I leaving?"
