Rachel briefly perused the menu before pushing it back. "No, thanks."

Bart frowned slightly, but relaxed and signaled a waitress. “Hello, could I get an iced coffee latte, please?"

"I'm not going to drink that," Rachel stated firmly, her voice tinged with frostiness.

The waitress was at a loss when she witnessed the tense exchange between the two. She hesitantly turned to Bart and began, "Sir..."

“I'll have an iced coffee latte, please," Bart interjected casually, as though he hadn't caught any of Rachel's comments. He snapped the menu shut and looked up at the waitress.
