Rachel's eyes flickered to the photos scattered before her.

The familiar sleek form of the Maybach was in there. Beside it stood a woman, engaging someone unseen in the back seat, her happiness apparent even in her profile.

Rachel's gaze drifted to the subsequent images.

One captured the woman as she opened the car door and slid into the passenger seat. In others, the Maybach was parked beneath an unfamiliar apartment building. The woman stepped out, waved cheerfully to the person still inside the car, and then disappeared into the building.
