Chapter: 633
"Susie is such a sweetheart! She resembles a fairy!"

“How did she manage to be so gentle?

I'm envious of the boy she's holding in her hand right now!"

"Susie will be a wonderful mother when she has her child."

Susan grinned subtly when she heard what her fans were saying behind her, despite the fact that she had her back to them.

"Little boy..."

The boy recognized he had become a tool for Susan to put on a show when he noticed the glint in her eyes.

Hidden behind his sunglasses, his eyes were filled with more profound disgust. He resisted the urge to withdraw his hand and interrupted her speech in a childish and crisp voice.

"Old lady."

Susan's smile froze upon hearing this. ‘What? Old lady? Do I look old to him?"

Susan felt a lump in her throat as she stared at the tiny kid in front of her. She said with a strained smile, "Kid, what were you saying?"

"Old lady? May I ask you a question?" he asked her again, innocently.

Susan felt uneasy when she heard him call her that. She was only twenty-five years old at the time.

Age was quite significant to an actress. The boy's statements served as a stark reminder to everyone that she had arrived at an awkward stage in her life.

If it was made public, she might be ridiculed.

"Old lady?"

Susan was thinking about this when she heard the boy call her again.

She couldn't say anything, though. With a forced smile, she said,

“Hmm? What's up? What do you want to ask, kid?"

"It's insignificant. I'm no longer enraged. I do not comprehend what the woman just said to me. I'd like to know what she meant."

"What is it that she said to you?"

"She said that I am ill-bred," the child said in a hushed voice, just loud enough to be heard by those near him.

“What does that mean?

Why did she say that when I just didn't step aside?"

Upon hearing that, Susan's smile froze all over again.
