She wore sunglasses and walked into the hall with her assistant and driver.
“Excuse me, what can I do for you?" the receptionist asked politely and smiled.
"I'm here for Mr. Sullivan." Susan said this as she removed her sunglasses and revealed her beautiful eyes.
“Susan Salazar! You're Suzan Salazar!" the receptionist exclaimed, eyes widening in shock.
The people passing by were immediately drawn and looked over their direction.
As the words spread, more and more people flocked to the scene, shocked and ecstatic.
It was Susan! She was currently the most popular actress and Victor's fiancee!
Susan smiled, maintaining her humble and polite demeanor. She was used to people's excitement when they saw her. Being popular made her feel smug.
"That's right." She grinned.
"Is Victor in his office?"
"Yes, Miss Salazar. Mr. Sullivan is here." The receptionist couldn't help but take a deep breath when she saw Susan's face. She was so lovely and courteous. It was no surprise Victor liked her.
"Thank you. Well then, I'll head upstairs."
“Let me show you the way!" The receptionist volunteered excitedly and then hesitated for a moment.
“Sorry, Miss Salazar... Can I get your autograph please?"
“Of course." Susan accepted the notebook and pen with a nod. She swiftly signed her name and returned it to the receptionist.
“Thanks for your support."
"T-the pleasure is all mine!" The receptionist smiled nervously and led the way.
After their brief interaction, the receptionist pressed the 33rd floor for Susan and stepped out of the elevator.
Susan thanked her with a smile.
The onlookers were still there as the elevator doors gently closed.
They all peered at Susan through the narrow crack of the doors.
Susan's ego was sated by the crowd's appreciative gazes.
"So she is Susan, Mr. Sullivan's fiancee," one of the staff said.
"Yes! I can't believe it's her. She's even more beautiful in person!" someone replied.
"I think she is beautiful, but... I just feel like she's a little familiar. Don't you think she looks like someone?"
