Chapter: 644
Susan quickly adjusted her mood, giving Ivan a smile.

“I didn't have anything to do at home, so I decided to drop by. Is Victor inside?"

"Yes. But Mr. Sullivan is having a video conference right now," Ivan replied.

“Maybe...”

"I know. Don't worry. I won't disturb him. I just haven't seen him in a while." Susan explained thoughtfully.

"He has stomach problems, and when he's busy, he often forgets to eat. It's almost evening. He hasn't even eaten Lunch yet, right?"

"Well... You're right..."

"I knew it." Susan frowned.

"I already ordered some food and it'll be delivered here in a while. I'll go back once he's done eating."

Ivan looked at Susan and hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

"Let me take you in."

“Oh, it's okay. Are you doing some errands?" Susan eyed the folder in Ivan's hand.

"Go ahead with your work. I can manage."

“If you insist, Miss Salazar." The document in his hand was indeed important and Ivan urgently needed to take care of it.

Susan smiled as she saw him get into the elevator. She then turned around and gazed at the CEO's office.

She walked up to the door and slowly opened it.

The big office was painted black and white. As she came in, she felt a rush of pressure and coldness, just like Victor himself.

Ivan didn't lie. Victor was indeed holding a video conference. He immediately looked up when he heard a noise coming from the door and saw Susan. His face remained cold, and he didn't say anything. His eyes were glued to the computer in front of him.

Susan stood at the door for a while. She felt a sharp ache in her heart as she saw him treat her so indifferently.

Three years had passed, but she still couldn't get used to his attitude towards her.

Susan took a deep breath to calm herself down. She gave him a gentle smile and sat down on the sofa. She then took out her phone, which displayed a dozen messages on the screen. The messages contained all of the work arrangements her agency and team had sent.

Suddenly, a piece of news popped up.

“Susan Salazar back to Apliaria, getting married soon."

Seeing this, Susan couldn't help but turn to look at Victor. She clenched her fists and pondered whether or not to speak up.

When the host asked when her wedding would take place during the award ceremony last week, she smiled and replied it should be soon.
