Chapter: 673
"No, that's impossible. Every servant inside Sue Garden has been thoroughly investigated before. It can't be a servant then..."

However, the mystery was still left unresolved.

Carson might be a little slow, but he could still somehow figure out what the culprit did to pull it off.

"This man is cunning. He knew that you could easily track his traces, so he has set this trap for you. Then, I'm afraid, his knowledge and cleverness can't be underestimated."

Victor didn't say anything, but it was evident that he agreed with what Carson said.

"This gets more interesting. It's like a deliberate act of provocation." Carson got a little excited and remarked, "It's either he is a master hacker or he hired one. But it was a little strange that he didn't steal all of the money in your account. I'm wondering why he only took three hundred million. Anyway, now that tracking the culprit's IP address didn't lead to anything, what is your next move?"

Victor eventually put down the glass. Before he answered, Carson could clearly see the fierceness in his eyes.

In a firm voice, he said, “One thing's for sure. I won't let that piece of shit have any chance of using that money."

The next day, early in the morning

A servant had dried Joey's clothes from last night and sent them to the guest room. Joey slept well and woke up in the morning. He changed his clothes and got ready to go down.

A maid who had been cleaning the living room was surprised to see

Joey awake.

"Why are you awake so early? Breakfast is not yet ready."

“That's okay. I just want to take a walk.”

"This place is huge. I'll come with you in case you get lost." The maid volunteered to accompany him.

Joey looked at her carefully. Even though the maid hid it well, he detected the suspicion in her eyes. She was on guard against him.

"Okay," he said. He didn't plan to do anything, so he didn't mind that she tagged along.

Soon, the maid followed him out of the living room. Then, they saw a car coming from the distance and stopped.

"Mr. Sullivan is back!" she said with excitement. When the car stopped, she hurried down the steps to greet Victor, completely forgetting that she had been showing Joey around.

Joey looked at the car.

Victor's long legs came into view as he got out of the car.

This time was different than last night. Maybe Lukas' words changed his impression. Joey felt that Victor didn't seem that bad.

Lukas had told him that Victor had been looking forward to his birth.

Joey's eyes narrowed, and he pursed his lips. Suddenly, he felt an impulse to ask Victor whether it was true.

Victor was wearing last night's clothes. His sleeves were rolled up, and his clothes were wrinkled. He also smelled of alcohol.
