Chapter: 1054
Norah began examining the documents, scanning them attentively.

Silence enveloped the living room, everyone was hesitant to interrupt.

"Hold on, are we missing any documents?" Norah finished reading and placed the documents on the table.

"The blood test and CT scan reports are incomplete."

When Manley, Marlin, and Hans heard that, they huddled over the reports, searching eagerly. But alas, the sought-after details were nowhere to be found. Still, the examinations mentioned by the Supernatural Doctor were exactly the ones they had scheduled.

"It seems the servant hasn't brought all the documents. Adela. Where are you, Adela?"

Adela hurried down the stairs. "Mr. Boyd, how may I assist you?"

It became clear to Yolande that Adela was the servant who took care of her mom Nyla.

“Have we gathered all of my mother's check-up reports? It appears we're missing a few."

A flash of panic crossed Adela's eyes. "There are so many reports, I must have overlooked some by mistake. I'll go upstairs and check for them right now."

Norah watched her intently for a moment, then said, "Go ahead."

Shortly after, Adela returned with additional documents in a bag.

Norah examined them closely and discovered that compressed brain nerves were preventing Nyla from waking up.

However, there seemed to the something off with the blood testing reports.

“What kind of injury did Mrs. Boyd sustain that led to her current situation?"

Manley let out a sigh. "None. She fell ill suddenly. The doctors weren't hopeful about her recovery, so we brought her home to care for her."

Norah nodded. "Okay, let's go upstairs and see her."

"Please come with me."

Adela led the way.

Upon entering the bedroom, they were greeted by a strong medicinal odor, which was quite unpleasant.

Everyone, including Yolande, made a face.

Adela hurried to the window and cracked it open a bit. "The doctor said that Mrs. Boyd shouldn't be exposed to the wind."

Before Marlin and Hans could inquire about it, Adela had already explained.

Manley had been used to it for a long time. He placed a chair beside the bed and gently held Nyla's hands.
