Chapter: 1329
“Women? Do you think you deserve one?"
A cold voice sliced through the air behind Marlin, startling Justin, who then discover Norah.
His face immediately turned pale. How could she still be alive? The word on the street was that Norah was dead.
“Are you surprised to see me?"
Gilda pushed Norah's wheelchair forward, placing her right in Justin's Line of sight.
Justin's panic was palpable. He had been relaxing and enjoying himself here because he thought Norah was gone for good.
“Let's cut to the chase. Where are your parents now, especially your mother?"
Justin's legs quaked visibly under Norah's relentless stare, his composure crumbling as the truth of her return sank in.
Norah arched an eyebrow, remembering that Justin had been less scared when she had confronted him at the racetrack earlier.
"I don't know what you're talking about. My parents died a long time ago," Justin hissed.
“So, the couple in Bay Village are what, ghosts?"
Justin was caught off guard by her knowledge of that detail.
He slumped on the couch, threw his hands open, and said, “I have no idea about this Bay Village you're talking about. My parents have been gone for years."
Norah had expected him to dodge her questions. She looked around the room and asked, "Could everyone please leave us alone for a bit?"
Yolande was worried, saying, "That's not safe, Norah. Remember how Justin almost harassed those two maids at the villa. Plus, with you in a wheelchair, it's dangerous if he gets violent.”
Marlin said, "Yeah, I can't leave you two alone."
Considering Norah's situation in a wheelchair and Justin's physical capabilities, the dangers were too significant.
After a brief moment of thought, Norah said, “Okay, Gilda and Chayce will stay. Everyone else, please leave."
Marlin and Yolande accepted her decision.
“Alright, just yell if you need us."
After the room emptied and Gilda had locked the door, she inquired, "What's the plan, Miss?"
Norah motioned towards Justin on the sofa and said, "You two, keep him in place."
Justin recoiled in fear, saying, "You can't do this; it's illegal! I could sue!"
Gilda and Chayce held him down firmly from both sides.
