Chapter: 1330
“Go ahead and sue. It might just bring your mysterious past into the spotlight, including your parents. Think the Wilson family would ignore that?"
Fear was apparent in Justin's eyes as he trembled.
Norah's smirk was stern, clearly showing she was all business.
“Come on. You gave yourself away before I even begin questioning. You did have something to do with the Wilson family."
Justin remained stubborn. "I don't know what you're talking about. The Wilson family? I've never heard of them."
Gilda hit him on the back of his head. "Stop pretending, and spill it. What did the Wilsons ask you to do?"
Norah casually pulled out a gold pocket watch dangling on a slender chain from her pocket and began toying with it.
"Let me guess, my disappearance has something to do with your mother, right?"
Gilda was startled. "Miss, are you suggesting your disappearance was arranged by your uncle and his family?"
“Well, I wasn't certain initially, but his reaction now pretty much confirms it, doesn't it?" Norah sneered.
Justin's lips trembled, and his eyes flicked around, filled with fear.
"I don't understand what you're getting at."
He started to resist. "Release me! Please, just let me go!"
"Now, I'll start with my questions."
Norah maneuvered her wheelchair to face Justin, raised her right hand with the gold chain wrapped around her finger, and began swinging the pocket watch before him.
“Focus on the watch..."
Her voice seemed to mesmerize him, causing Justin's eyes to track the swinging motion of the watch.
“What's your name? How many people are in your family, and what are their names?"
“My name is Justin Lee, my mother's name is Ivy Lee, and my father's name is Reggie Lee."
“Why did your family move to Silverdale?"
"We were paid to stage our deaths and move to Silverdale to stay out of the spotlight."
Justin responded to each question obediently. Gilda and Chayce exchanged glances, both taken aback by Norah's ability.
Norah remained composed, casually asking, "So, who's behind this?"
Justin replied, "Iker Wilson. He has paid a hefty sum to my family."
