Chapter: 1598
She was no longer Rose, the wanderer, but Norah Wilson, the oldest daughter of the prestigious Wilson family in Glophia.

"Alright then, since you've thought it through, I won't add anything more. Here's to your success." Gil raised his glass. Trudy, clueless about their conversation, lifted her glass of water, and Sean did the same. The three of them toasted Norah.

"To all your dreams coming true and smooth sailing ahead." "Norah, I might not grasp everything, but if you ever feel overwhelmed or need anything, come to me. I'll whip up something tasty." "Sweetheart, I have full faith in you."

Norah accepted their kind words and downed her wine in one go.

She knew that Gil's faith in her was unwavering. His concern was genuine, and now that he was reassured, he would give her his full backing.

As for Sean, he always stood behind her no matter what path she chose. When she needed funds to acquire the hospital, Sean was the one who generously transferred the money to her without hesitation.

Norah only had a few drinks but indulged in plenty of food. Trudy knew her tastes well, and every time she visited, she ended up eating so much that she'd need digestive tablets afterward.

Trudy's love was something she could never turn down.

On the ride home, Norah glanced at her phone. "I saw online that your mom's comeback performance was a big hit."

Sean chuckled and said, “Even though she kept saying she was okay, she was pretty anxious before stepping on stage. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and people are talking about it everywhere."

Two decades ago, Kayla was a huge name in the music world. Despite vanishing after that tragic stage incident, her fans remained loyal, always standing by her.

When the announcement of her return was made, all the tickets sold out in a flash-something Kayla herself didn't foresee.

"Mom's thrilled and has been diving into new things with more excitement. Honestly, we owe a lot to you for that." Sean smiled.

"I've told you before, no need to thank me. We're family—no need to be so formal."

"Alright, I hear you," Sean said, wrapping his arm around her; sand Norah nestled close, replying to messages on her phone.

"Hadley just told me she moved to Silverdale with her kid. After the split, she didn't want to deal with Iker and his family anymore." Norah shifted into a more relaxed position and added, "But Mindy and her family are awful for trying to push Hadley into such a horrible situation."

Joanna later told her the details. She and Duncan had gone to the Glamour Club for drinks and stumbled upon Hadley in the restroom after she had been drugged. Recognizing her, Joanna helped her out.

Later, Hadley informed her that she made a scene at the Wilson estate, divorced Hank, and left with her child for good.

Sean remarked, "She was fortunate to have crossed paths with you." Out of all the people in the family, Hadley connected with Norah, who had just come back to the Wilson family. Thanks to the help and knowledge Hadley had provided, Norah couldn't ignore her struggles.

Sean and Norah chatted a bit longer before he pulled up in front of Wilson Manor. The night air felt crisp as she stepped out, waving goodbye while he drove off into the distance, his taillights disappearing around the bend.

Today was significant; it marked her return home. Norah had worked out a plan with her parents to spend most of her time at Dreamview Villas, but she made it a point to come back and reconnect with them now and then.

As she walked through the familiar door, she had a hunch that her father would soon bring up the topic of Silver Boulder Private Hospital. She hadn't told her family about taking on this project, and it was Sean who had been her lifeline during her financial struggles.

Stepping into the living room, Norah saw Calvin and Bernice sitting rigidly on the sofa, their expressions serious.

"Dad, Mom," she said, settling into the chair across from them. "You're still up?"
