Chapter: 1597
Gil had all the qualifications to take on the vice director role. It was a perfect fit for him, especially if he wasn't quite ready for retirement.

Gil offered, "I spoke with Trudy. Let's head to my place for dinner tonight and talk about what you're planning."

The day's revelations were overwhelming, and he needed a moment to process everything.

"That sounds great. I'll bring Sean along for a meal at your place."

"Okay. Trudy's been saying you haven't dropped by in ages."

Norah pulled out her phone to make a call. Gil watched her with a sense of pride; he had seen her grow into someone with a bright future ahead. At Gil's home, the lights glowed warmly. Trudy placed the final dish on the table and called out, "Dinner's ready!"

In a quiet corner, Norah stood before a photo of Aurelia, gazing at it with longing. Aurelia had always been a mentor figure to her, and Norah had vowed to take good care of Gil and Trudy.

Sean had visited Gil's home with Norah several times. Though the space was modest, it exuded warmth and comfort.

He helped arrange the dishes and took a seat beside Norah, fully aware of the significance of tonight's meal.

Unaware of the discussions to come, Trudy filled a generous bowl of chicken soup for Norah. "This has been simmering for hours. Be careful, it's hot! Sean, have some too."

"Thank you, Trudy," Norah said as she took the bowl. The savory aroma of the soup wafted up, and she carefully took a spoonful. "It tastes amazing, as always."

Sean also took a taste and was equally impressed. Trudy's cooking was hard to beat.

Clearing his throat, Gil said, "Why don't you tell me exactly what your plan is, Norah? You never mentioned anything about buying Silver Boulder Private Hospital."

He was stunned that Norah had managed to gather enough resources to purchase the hospital. Running such an institution requires deep financial backing and expertise. The regulatory hurdles must have been a nightmare to navigate.

Norah's smile broadened. "I wanted to surprise you. Were you shocked?"

"I was, but it wasn't all pleasant," Gil admitted. "Managing a hospital is far more complicated than you might think. Are you certain you're up for the challenge?"

"I'm confident. I used to feel aimless, but now I have a mission—to make sure every patient walks out of our doors with a smile."

"There are still many untreatable diseases and complex cases out there, Norah. The road ahead is tough, and you can't do this on your own."

"I know that," she said with a shrug. "That's why I plan to bring on skilled professionals. There are plenty of talented doctors out there willing to join."

Gil wasn't convinced. "And why would top doctors come to a lesser-known hospital like this one?"

Norah wasn't upset; instead, she calmly lifted her gaze. “Because I am the Supernatural Doctor."

This role brought her widespread recognition and admiration. Once her true identity was revealed, numerous physicians would flock to the hospital, eager to share medical expertise with her.

Gil was at a loss for words. He acknowledged that the fame of the Supernatural Doctor would undoubtedly draw top doctors. "So, you're set on revealing your identity as the Supernatural Doctor?"

"Yes, there's no point in keeping it hidden anymore. I'm ready to settle down," Norah replied.
