Chapter: 315
Thinking about Susanna's complaint about not having eaten her cooking, Norah invited Susanna over for dinner. Susanna happily agreed to come over.

Norah was cooking when there was a knock on the door. Upon opening the door, she was met with Susanna, Sean and Phillip. Phillip just turned around and was about to take his leave after he had dropped Susanna and Sean off.

Norah didn't bother herself with trying to turn them away, as they were already there. “Susanna, Sean, please come in and have a seat.

Phillip, join us for a meal."

Phillip turned to Sean, silently asking for the latter's advice. Upon getting a nod from Sean, he followed them into Norah's villa.

Norah walked in, explaining, "Susanna told me last time that she hadn't tasted my cooking before. Today, I decided to remedy that and invite you all for dinner."

Susanna approached Norah and cheerfully shared her day, “I had tagged along with Sean and visited one of his companies. We had attended a business event. We were on our way back when you called."

With a faint smile on his Lips, Sean explained, “Susanna insisted on me coming to your place with her. If it bothers you, Phillip and I can leave.”

Norah waved her hands, dismissing Sean's words. “You're all my guests.

You can stay and wait for the food to be ready."

She then returned to the kitchen.

Susanna watched as Norah busied herself in the kitchen. "The breakfast Norah cooked for me this morning was quite delicious. I'm curious to know how other dishes would taste. Sean, you said it'd taste delicious, right?"

"Yes, Norah is a great cook," Sean replied.

He then stood up, announcing, “I'm gonna join her. I have something to talk to her."

Sean strode over to the kitchen. Norah was slicing potatoes. Her hands moved swiftly, producing thin slices.

"What's wrong?" Norah asked as she transferred the sliced potatoes to a plate and began handling the beef. The knife seemed weightless in her hands as she swiftly but deftly did her work.

"You can add some cilantro if you want. You don't have to go out of your way to accommodate me and Susanna."

"It's no worry, really. Leave it all to me. Go wait for the meal to be fully prepared," Norah replied flatly.

Norah had on a brown teddy-patterned apron, which exuded a homely aura. This was in stark contrast to how she portrayed herself to others. The kitchen was warm from the heat of the food being cooked.

However, Norah's demeanor remained icy cold.

"Alright," Sean said, chuckling. He didn't seem to be bothered by Norah's demeanor as he turned and went back to the living room.

Norah alone occupied the spacious villa. There was an undertone of loneliness hidden in that fact.

Susanna took notice of the invitation on the table. She leaned over, attempting to open it.

Phillip, however, stopped her. “You shouldn't do that."
