Within minutes, the police were on the scene.

Quintin relayed the events to the officers and handed them the security footage for evidence.

Lilliana repeatedly attempted to interject, but Phoebe continually brushed her aside.

“Officer, this woman has disrupted our operations and misrepresented herself as a major client. I believe she has harmful intentions and may be carrying dangerous weapons." Phoebe's claims, supported by clear security footage, appeared very persuasive.

“Miss, do you have any dangerous objects or prohibited weapons on you?"

The police officer's stern expression only heightened Lilliana's frustration.

"Dangerous objects? Prohibited weapons? I'm just here to pass on a message. Sure, I got a little heated, but I haven't harmed anyone. Why am I being detained?"

"Miss, please mind your tone and cooperate with our investigation," the officer addressed Lilliana.

He then instructed his men to take Lilliana away.

As Lilliana resisted, the officer's gaze hardened further.

“Kaitlin, how dare you! This isn't over! Just you wait!" Lilliana shouted.

Kaitlin, standing behind Phoebe, met Lilliana's outburst with a serene look.

Once they had taken Lilliana away, she returned to her tasks as if the disruption had never occurred.

Phoebe, still on edge, stayed by her side, whispering reassurances.

"Kaitlin, are you okay? Don't listen to a word Lilliana says. She clearly came here to stir up trouble. Don't let her get to you."

Kaitlin nodded in response. “I'm aware. Didn't you catch my words on the security video? With Ashley stirring up such a mess, it won't be long before Alan decides to show her the door himself."

Phoebe flashed her friend a supportive thumbs up. "Kaitlin, you've become quite astute! But why not just lay it all out for Alan?"

Kaitlin paused, lost in thought for a moment, then looked up with a grave expression.

"Ashley has a nostalgic hold on Alan. He needs to see her for who she is on his own. I don't want his affection out of mere obligation towards our child. If he is to love me, I want all of his heart. None of it should be reserved for anyone else."

That evening, the news of Lilliana's arrest made its way to Ashley.

Her face contorted with anger as she processed the questions from the officer on the Line.

"Are you Lilliana Willis' sister? She's been arrested for assaulting Kaitlin Gilbert, who has already retained an attorney."

Ashley demanded the specifics before ending the call. She clenched her teeth in frustration, muttering, "What a fool! She can't even pass along a simple message without landing behind bars!"

Once she had regained her composure, Ashley decided to reach out to Owen.
