Chapter: 297
They briefly discussed potential collaborations until a staff member hurried over. "Ms. Gilbert, someone is looking for you."

“Looking for me?" Kaitlin stood up and peered out, spotting a familiar figure.

She was a little surprised. Alan was supposed to be at work. How did he manage to come to Estresa?

The surprise quickly turned to delight.

"Excuse me," she said to Denton.

Denton responded with a nod and followed her gaze, noticing a man in a suit approaching them.

Dylan placed some food on the table. “Thank you everyone for your hard work. Mr. Hewitt would like to treat you for coffee."

Dylan's voice captured the attention of everyone backstage.

Kaitlin pursed her lips, feeling a touch of embarrassment. “Alan, what brings you here?"

"There's a project in Estresa that I'm here to check out.”

Kaitlin laughed softly, choosing not to mention the evident panic on Alan's face.

Clearly, he had intentionally come to see her, yet he was too embarrassed to admit it.

Their affectionate behavior didn't go unnoticed, and others quickly guessed their relationship.

They gratefully accepted the coffee and enjoyed it together.

"I've brought you a cup of hot chocolate and desserts." Alan presented Kaitlin with the bags he carried, which contained items specially prepared just for her.

Kaitlin expressed her gratitude and delicately tasted the hot chocolate. "Why don't you join me for a bit? It's intermission now."

Kaitlin escorted Alan to the lounge where they sat together. Denton watched them with a curious eye.

Noticing Denton's glance, she said, “Mr. Gilbert, allow me to introduce Alan Hewitt, the CEO of Hewitt Group from Osewood."

Then turning to Alan, she continued, “Alan, meet Denton Gilbert, the CEO of Gilbert Jewelry and a judge in this competition."

The two men acknowledged each other.

With consideration, Alan took out the dessert with a fork and offered it to her. "Give this a try."

"No worries, I can handle it myself."

Although Kaitlin said so, the smile on her face became sweeter.

She was here as a judge, yet Alan had made the special effort to see her. It was a considerate and unusual act.
