Chapter: 308
Marcia's assistant struggled to find the full video.
She ended up spending a significant sum of money to obtain a few clips and photos from an entertainment reporter.
The assistant returned to Gilbert Jewelry and handed these to Marcia.
"Marcia, this is all I could get."
Marcia briefly acknowledged her and started a video.
The first few minutes were filled with boring, formal questions, but after three minutes, the video reached a crucial moment.
In the video, Kaitlin's expression turned stern when she was questioned about remarriage.
Marcia hit the pause button and motioned for her assistant to come closer. “Have someone enhance this image and spin it that Kay was putting on an act during the interview."
The assistant nodded. "I'm on it."
"Try to pick up on these things. I shouldn't have to guide you through every step. It gets tiresome." Marcia gave her assistant a sharp look. She would have replaced her if she hadn't been so compliant.
The video resumed, and the Line of questioning grew increasingly pointed and hostile.
"Edit these reporters' questions to match the earlier formal ones, so the comparison becomes more obvious."
The assistant nodded. "Okay."
Towards the end of the video, Alan approached the stage and left with Kaitlin.
Marcia's eyes lit up and she sneered. "Such true love! How could they be divorced if Alan is so protective of Kaitlin?"
Marcia sighed and examined the photos.
Though the images of their departure were somewhat blurry, Kaitlin was still identifiable.
There was also a photo showing Kaitlin and Alan chatting backstage.
They were smiling, and the atmosphere appeared very harmonious.
Suddenly, Marcia's face darkened, and she slammed the laptop shut.
The assistant was startled and looked at Marcia in confusion. "Marcia, what seems to be the problem?"
Marcia scoffed, "Where did these photos come from? They're of no use."
The assistant pursed her Lips, recalling Marcia's initial contentment.
"Never mind. Just handle it now." Marcia retrieved a USB drive and passed it to her assistant.
