Chapter: 315
Meanwhile, Marcia continued to curry favor with Denton, blatantly ignoring Kaitlin who stood nearby.

Kaitlin tried to remain indifferent, puzzled by Marcia's animosity towards her.

Could it be her feedback from the first session that set her off?

Marcia seemed so petty.

Internally, Kaitlin complained while she sat quietly, observing Marcia's maneuvers.

Yet, Marcia wasn't completely disregarding Kaitlin. She suddenly turned to face her. "Ms. Gilbert, today's livestream was quite impressive. I suppose you haven't seen it yet, have you?"

Marcia pulled out her phone and offered it to Kaitlin. "Some of the comments might be a bit harsh. Would you like to see for yourself?"

Caught off guard, Kaitlin reached out to accept the phone, but Denton intervened.

"Get out," Denton said abruptly to Marcia.

Her smile froze, confusion written all over her face as she struggled to understand Denton's sudden outburst.

"Mr. Gilbert, what..." Marcia uttered.

"Come out with me." Denton's expression was icy as he led the way out of the lounge.

Kaitlin resumed her seat with a smile, glancing at Marcia. "Go ahead. Mr. Gilbert is waiting for you."

Marcia shot Kaitlin a frosty look before departing.

"Mr. Gilbert, what's this about?" Marcia asked, taken aback by Denton's directness.

“Did you orchestrate this?" Denton asked bluntly, catching Marcia off guard.

“I'm not sure what you're referring to. Could you clarify?" Marcia responded, playing dumb.

"So you don't know?" Denton's tone was icy, his face dark with accusation.

"Mr. Gilbert, you're mistaken. I have no issues with Ms. Gilbert. What reason would I have to harm her?" Marcia protested.

“I'm curious about that myself," Denton remarked dryly.

Marcia was about to argue further when Denton handed her his phone.

Displayed on the screen was a damning exchange between her assistant and some paparazzo, detailing plans to spread rumors. Marcia froze, her smile faltering as the reality of the evidence set in.

"This... This is not me! It looks like... it must be my assistant."

Marcia was quick to deflect the blame. "Please, it's not my doing. She acted entirely on her own!"
