Chapter: 352
He glanced at Alan and scowled slightly. It was clear that Denton didn't a good opinion of Alan and merely offered him a cool greeting.

"Kaitlin, what brings you here?" Denton asked in surprise.

Kaitlin promptly pulled out the drafts from her bag. “Denton, did you get a chance to look at our drafts?"

"No, I haven't. Usually, I receive these drafts only after they've been reviewed. Is there an issue?" Denton looked puzzled as he raised his eyebrows at Kaitlin. "Is there a problem with the drafts?"

Kaitlin nodded. "Yes, there's a slight issue. These are the drafts that were sent back to us, and they are a bit different from the original ones we sent," she said with a hint of understatement, glancing at Denton's expression.

Denton appeared surprised, obviously unaware of the situation. He began examining the drafts. "Have all the drafts been returned? How can that be?"

Oasis Studio was known in Osewood for its quality. It was highly unusual for so many drafts to be returned all at once.

"Hold on, Kaitlin. I'll find out what happened," said Denton with a serious expression.

He stood and exited the reception room. His secretary entered and served Kaitlin and her companions coffee.

Denton carried the drafts straight to the person responsible for this project and slammed them on the desk.

“What happened here?"

Mara glanced at the drafts and felt unease. "Mr. Gilbert, these are the drafts that were returned. I suspected there were some issues..."

“The people from Oasis Studio claim these aren't the original drafts. You've been with the company long enough. Don't you recognize that these are all synthesized by AI?" Denton was clearly frustrated, confident that Kaitlin would never submit such drafts unless they no longer wanted to continue the partnership.

This was a question of trust. How could they make such a mistake?

"Mr. Gilbert, that's exactly why I pulled them back. I'm thinking there might have been a mistake." Mara blinked, appearing naive.

“What? Are you saying they really sent you these drafts?"

Mara nodded firmly and said, "Yes."

Denton eyed her with suspicion and asked, “Has anyone else seen these drafts besides you?"

Mara shook her head and said, "I noticed something was off when I checked them, so I sent them all back. I didn't want to trouble you, so I kept it to myself."

"Is that so?"

"Mr. Gilbert, don't you trust me? I have nothing to gain from this."

Denton considered her words. He gathered the drafts and returned to the reception room.

He said, “Kaitlin, my employee said these are exactly the drafts she received."

“How can that be? I personally sent the original drafts, and Phoebe organized them. There's no way there was a mistake," Judy retorted.
