Chapter: 375
From the moment the butler packed the clothes to when they were taken to the front hall, the sudden appearance of Miguel on the screen caused Alan's expression to darken.

"What's Miguel doing here?"

He dropped the formalities, no longer deeming the man worthy of respect.

"He came to visit Mrs. Hewitt," the butler replied.

"Did he say anything else?"

The butler shook his head. "I'm not completely sure."

Alan realized he wouldn't get any more information here. But if Miguel was after something, Beth wouldn't allow him to succeed.

Beth had seen through it all. Only that crippled man still clung to some vain hope.

Alan continued to scrutinize the footage intently.

In the surveillance video, around five or six minutes later, Miguel stepped out of the house and asked the butler to bring the clothes for inspection.

Even though the surveillance video didn't show anything unusual, Alan's expression suddenly turned grim.

There was no need for further investigation.

He had figured out who was responsible.

Alan didn't linger and promptly left the Hewitt family's old house.

The butler watched his car pull away and breathed a quiet sigh of relief.

Alan drove directly to Miguel's villa.

Alan entered the villa smoothly.

Miguel was casually enjoying a drink. Upon seeing Alan, he showed only a hint of surprise. “Alan, what brings you here without a heads up?"

Alan walked up with a stern face and delivered a punch to Miguel's face.

Miguel was knocked to the floor.

The wheelchair flipped over, indicating the force of Alan's blow.

“Alan, have you lost your mind?" Miguel's usual composure vanished, replaced by anger.

His assistant rushed to help, attempting to upright the wheelchair.

“Why don't you admit what you've done? It seems you're the one out of control!" Alan, seething with anger, fixed Miguel with a cold stare.
