Chapter: 382
The third and final round of bidding for the Royal Garden Road project was approaching. Everything hinged on this next move. Given Murphy Group's limited experience in the sector, their chances of winning were slim.

“What are you thinking about?" Kaitlin asked, offered Alan a glass of water.

Kaitlin guessed Alan might still be preoccupied with earlier troubles.

"Nothing much. Just thinking about work." Alan accepted the glass and took a sip before turning to Kaitlin.

"Kaitlin, the third round of bidding is approaching. We and Murphy Group have each won a round. If you were Shawn, what would your next move be?"

Kaitlin arched an eyebrow. Despite having the most skilled team in Osewood, Hewitt Group had lost a round to Murphy Group.

Kaitlin was nearly convinced Murphy Group had resorted to underhanded tactics.

"Perhaps... he might resort to some tricks again," she replied. “Like what?"

Alan gave her a playful wink, encouraging her to continue.

Kaitlin paused, then broke into a smile. "Perhaps Shawn will target the person leading the bid."

Miguel had finally secured the share transfer agreement he desired.

Staring at the document before him, he felt immensely pleased. Upon exiting the Hewitt family's ancient residence, he immediately reached out to Shawn.

"Are you confident about winning the third round?" he asked.

"Mr. Hewitt, aren't you supposed to be gathering information for me? Have you heard anything?" Shawn said in a cold tone. He was frustrated that Miguel was so useless, especially after the failure of the second bid.

“Mr. Murphy, don't worry. Alan is smart. He won't expose any information. Everything will be revealed eventually.”

There was a brief pause before Shawn continued, “Do you have any good plans, Mr. Hewitt?"

"Of course, I've been in touch with the bid's coordinator. You should meet with them."

"Indeed, you've put in every possible effort."

"Absolutely. We're partners, after all. We're going to secure this project."

After ending the call, Miguel inspected his injury in the mirror and swore bitterly. “Alan, I will see to it that you lose everything!"

Once Gilbert Jewelry had finalized all the preparations for the exhibition, they dispatched someone with an invitation.

Kaitlin confirmed she would attend the event as planned.

Denton had heavily promoted this exhibition in advance, setting high expectations across Osewood.

On the day of the event, numerous influential figures gathered in Osewood. Even Alan set aside his professional obligations to accompany Kaitlin to the exhibition.
