Chapter: 388
Shawn reciprocated the gesture.

They exchanged a knowing smile.

On the table in their room, a pot of jasmine in full bloom filled the air with its enchanting scent.

Concealed among the jasmine's branches was a pinhole camera, capturing every moment.

After their meeting concluded, they left one after another. The operation appeared seamless, yet Alan's team had been watching the entire time.

A waiter entered, deftly removed the camera, and exited without attracting any attention.

He quickly changed his attire and discreetly departed from the restaurant.

It was late at night by the time he delivered the footage to Alan's villa.

Kaitlin had retired for the evening. In his study, Alan watched the video in solitude, reflecting on its contents.

Dylan paused, then couldn't resist asking, "Mr. Hewitt, is it time to reveal everything?"

Alan blinked, then slowly shook his head. "No, let Shawn savor his confidence a little longer. How are the preparations?”

“Everything's set. However, the Murphy Group has bribed the person overseeing this. There might be complications with the final outcome. The third round of the bid is in two days," Dylan informed, his voice tinged with concern.

Alan chuckled softly. “Don't worry. Shawn has been scheming behind our backs for so long; perhaps it's time we gave him a little shock."

Dylan nodded in agreement. "Should we reveal the video on the day of the bidding?"

"Yes, arrange that. Once the results are declared, and Shawn is at his happiest, we'll release the video. He's going to lose more than just the project. He'll lose his pride too."

At the third round of the bidding for the Royal Garden Road project, all major corporations from Osewood were present, making the event highly prestigious.

Alan was the last to arrive. He surveyed the room with a detached air as whispers filled the space.

"I'm curious to see who will win this project."

"I bet on Hewitt Group. They've been the top players here in Osewood for years.”

“Lately, the Murphy Group has been the center of attention. It's hard to predict how things will turn out."

“Is there going to be a major shake-up in Osewood?"

Their whispered conversations couldn't break the stalemate. Even with today's bidding results pending, the outcome was anyone's guess.

Alan disregarded the ongoing chatter and made his way to the front seat.

By the time he arrived, Shawn was already seated in the front row.
