Chapter: 419
"It's a critical time for my studio. Stepping back isn't an option for me," Kaitlin responded with a smile.

"You're absolutely right." Denton laughed warmly. "I wish I weren't so tied up in Estresa, or I'd fly out to see you.

"There's no rush. Mr. Gilbert, you can come meet me after the jewelry show," Kaitlin said calmly.

"Alright, it's settled then. You owe me a meal," Denton responded from the other end of the line.

Kaitlin agreed with a smile. Before ending the call, Denton shared some intriguing news.

"I've heard that the Murphy Group from overseas is planning a full- scale entry into our domestic market. They've started picking locations and are already renovating in Estresa, right in the city center," he explained.

Surprise flickered in Kaitlin's eyes.

“Entering the domestic market?" she asked. “Why are they shifting focus after dominating the international market for so many years?"

“I'm not clear on the details." Denton sounded equally baffled. “But if Murphy Group does commit here, it could open doors for future collaborations."

After a brief pause, he asked, “Kaitlin, you've worked with them twice before, haven't you? How did those go?"

Denton's question revealed his deep trust in Kaitlin's judgment.

Yet, she hesitated, reflecting on her experiences.

In terms of business, Shawn was a solid partner.

In other respects, though, she had her reservations.

Sensing her reluctance, Denton didn't push.

"Let's talk more about it when we meet next. For now, focus on your work," he suggested.

Kaitlin nodded and ended the call, turning her attention to the tasks ahead.

Phoebe, sitting nearby, had prepared two proposals for Kaitlin to consider.

“Is Alan okay with you working so hard?" she asked teasingly.

It had been a while since Phoebe had seen Kaitlin, who seemed to have gained some weight.

It seemed life was treating her well, so Phoebe had nothing to worry about.

Kaitlin chuckled as she perused the documents.

“How else could we manage? I can't leave you to handle everything on your own during such a hectic time," she responded.

"You haven't had a break in ages either. It's not fair to you,"
