Chapter: 1068
"That's impossible! Nikolas, I really have only had you!" Siena's voice trembled with desperation. "I have never forgotten you since you broke up with me. I thought that one day you would see my true love and change your mind. How could I possibly be with another man?"

"I don't want to hear this now," Nikolas said, turning to leave.

Siena immediately stopped him. "You can't go! I think there's something wrong with this child. Maybe I took the wrong baby after giving birth. I definitely gave birth to your baby. If you didn't tamper with the test results, then it must be an issue with the child!"

Kai and Gilda exchanged glances. "Siena, you can also have a paternity test with this child to confirm if there is a blood relationship between you. Since we're all here today, we can figure it out."

What if she really took the wrong baby? That would mean their happiness had been in vain.

Nikolas’ face darkened as he considered the possibility. “Yes, you can do the test as well.”

"Okay, I'll do it."

Siena followed the doctor into the clinical lab, still holding the child in her arms.

Outside the door, Gilda clenched her son's hand and said, "Nikolas, there's still hope! If the child really isn't yours, then there might be a chance for you and Aimee to get back together."

Nikolas held the test report tightly, as if it were a lifeline. But doubt lingered in his eyes.

"Mom, if the child isn't mine, will Aimee come back to me?"

"Of course! Aimee still likes you," Gilda reassured him. “Don't worry. I'll speak to her and her parents. Whatever problems you two had were because of Siena and the child. If we can prove that the child has nothing to do with you, then there's a good chance you can get back together."

Nikolas lowered his gaze, frowning at the words on the report.

He recalled Aimee's words.

"Today it's Siena, tomorrow it could be more women!" She had made it clear that she had enough.

"Mom, you have to persuade Aimee to come back to me!" Nikolas urged.

"I will do my best," Gilda promised.

"You need to do more than just your best," Nikolas said, his voice hoarse. “She's pregnant."

Gilda's jaw dropped, her eyes as wide as saucers. "Come again?"

"She's pregnant, but she's scheduled for an abortion," said Nikolas.

"No way!" Gilda's legs almost buckled at the news. “Honey, hurry! We must go to Aimee's place. She is carrying Nikolas' baby. We can't let her go through with this!"

Kai, unusually quick to agree, nodded. Despite his rare willingness, his face remained stern. “Let's go."

However, Nikolas held his mother back. "Mom, Jonathan is outside Aimee's apartment, keeping an eye on things. She won't head to the hospital just yet. Let's wait for Siena's test results first."

Fear gnawed at Nikolas. The thought of potentially having a child with Siena, if she had indeed taken the wrong baby, sent shivers down his spine.
